Mamoo Ka Jadoo

Jaane tu Ya Jaane Na is nothing but bubble gum romance which can be thoroughly likeable to kids and teenagers only. It doesnot have a fresh story nor has a very enchanting music to talk of. There are hints of Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander here and there as far as music is concerned but the matter ends there. If you mix Zanjeer (the horse in dream episode), Chalte Chalte and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in varying proportions, you get a concoction called Jaane Tu....

Debutante Imran Khan has definitely done a good job but it is nothing compared to some debutantes of recent times like Shiney Ahuja, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Vivek Oberoi to name a few. If there is any bright spot as far as the acting department in the film is concerned, its ought to be Naseeruddin Shah and his equally talented better half, Ratna Pathak Shah.

Jaane Tu... might have well met with a similar fate as Love Story 2050 had it not been Aamir Khan who not only paved the way for Imran's debut but ensured that no stones were unturned as far as promoting the movie was concerned. Mr. Perfectionist ensured that no Khans and Bachchans were left out at the premier of the movie making it one of the most glittering and sizzling premier of the season.

Imran's mamoojaan, Aamir Khan is undoubtedly the fuel behind Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na's success. To put it in a lighter vein, Mamoo Ka Jadoo chal gaya....
